Welcome to Oak View Preschool and School Readiness website for Ocean View School District!

It is exciting to present information about the programs offered in the Ocean View
School District for children ages birth to age 5 and their parents.

Primarily this website will introduce the school activities, staff and events for children who attend Oak View Preschool. You can read the monthly parent newsletter for current preschool activity dates and curriculum information. The newsletter will also have tips for health and safety ideas. See the school calendar for this month’s highlights.

Secondly, this website will serve as a resource to teachers and parents for developmental, behavioral and social information for children ages 3-5. You can review the articles from Parents Make the Difference. This is a fantastic resource that will provide you with information and ideas about the development and behavior of children ages 3-5.

Oak View Preschool is currently enrolling children for preschool. Families must qualify by income and live within the Ocean View School District. Please call Oak View Preschool at 714-843-6938.
   

Parent Participation School

Reminder to all Preschool Parents! We encourage you to volunteer in your child's classroom a minimum of 2 times per month! Thank You to those parents that have volunteered more than that in September!
 

Introducing....Learning Link

The Learning Link is a new program offered to parents and children 0-5 years not attending any early education program. It is a "stay and play" type program to serve the families in the Oak View Community.

The Learning Link offers:
•An interactive center for parents and their children ages 0-5
•Classroom activities designed by our preschool staff
•Weekly parent and child class
•Information and referral to community resources
•Parent education workshops
•School Nurse to answer health related questions
 

Huntington Beach Adult School
Adult School Fall Schedule
ESL Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am-11:00am and Monday through Thursday from 6:00pm-9:00pm. For more information contact 714-842-4227. Registration will be at the new Adult School Office located at 17231 Gothard Street, next to Ocean View High School.
