Oakley School Attendance Improvement Plan 2011 - 2012

 

Individual Incentives:

o   Otter Pops will be given out at recess monthly by the principal/assistant principal to those students with perfect attendance for the month.  (0 tardies or absences) The months of October and November will be combined as well as the months of February and March.

 

o   Perfect attendance for the trimester will result in an award at the trimester assembly ( 0 absences and 1 tardy)

 

Classroom Attendance Incentives:

o   The class will earn one letter everyday that the class has perfect attendance.  When the class spells “Everybody’s Here” the class will receive some type of reward such as pencils, erasers, sharpeners, etc.  and receive a scoop of ice-cream on our attendance bulletin board.

 

Year End Rewards:

o   The class with the most ice-cream scoops for earning “Everybody’s Here” will get an ice-cream party with the principal/assistant principal at the end of the year.

 

o   Students who have perfect attendance for the year will receive a perfect attendance award at the assembly. (3 or less tardies and 0 absences)

  

o   Students who have Great Attendance, 5 or fewer absences and 5 or less tardies for the year, will receive a Root Beer Float Party with the principal or assistant principal in June!
