The Oakley PTA plays an intricate role in the dynamics of Oakley School! A primary goal of PTA is to provide a friendly, inclusive atmosphere at Oakley School, representing all parents/guardians and teachers. By creating this collaborative environment, the children of Oakley greatly benefit! To reflect this spirit of the PTA, our slogan is:
“Together Everyone Achieves More.”
The PTA contributes to the projects, programs, and activities at Oakley School in two ways: FUNDING and VOLUNTEERS!
FUNDING – There are 3 major sources of revenue for the PTA:
- Memberships
- Fundraisers
- School Activities: Family Day, Dinner with Santa, etc.
PTA HELPS FUND THE FOLLOWING:
- Field Trips
- Family Day
- Dinner with Santa
- And Much More!
VOLUNTEERS – Volunteers are needed at Oakley for a wide variety of "jobs." Volunteers are valuable whether they are "leaders" or "doers," whether they have an hour a week or only evening hours, and whether they are creative or analytical. There is a job for everyone, and everyone’s skills are appreciated. Without your support to PTA, activities would be very limited!!
