“The UN-Fundraiser” 2009-2010!!!

Dear Circle View Families and Friends,

We are proud to announce the return of “The Un-Fundraiser 2009”!! Last year this program proved to be a huge success! Families were very pleased with the stress-free and tax deductible program. As we all know the recent budget cuts have hurt everyone, especially schools. More and more is in jeopardy of being lost and so our fundraising efforts are more important than ever! If we want to continue to provide the wonderful programs that our students enjoy, everyone’s participation is so important.

Why are we choosing to do the “UN-Fundraiser”?

• No door-to-door sales by students
• No sales competitions among students and our neighboring schools
• All donations are tax deductible.
• Donations are eligible for corporate matching funds programs.
• 100% of donations go directly to the PTO with no fees being paid to outside companies (Fundraising fees are always 50% of the proceeds or greater.)
• The PTO can redirect volunteer efforts toward classroom and school support to better serve our students and staff.

Did you know CVPTO will spend approximately $78,000 this year to provide our children with field trips, assemblies, Read to the Stars, Art Muses, lower grade music, and individual classroom and library support?

That is an average of $100 per student!

With the money earned from the “UN-Fundraiser”, we would like to do two things:

1.   Continue to support current school-wide activities. 

2.   Provide new and updated technology (Smart Boards, computers, printers, etc.) to all classrooms.

If you’re able to make a larger donation please consider doing so since not every family will be able to contribute. Just complete the attached form and send it with your donation by Friday, October 23^th --- that’s it! Please feel free to make copies of the donation form for family and friends. It can also be downloaded and sent to relatives and friends who may have supported Circle View’s fundraising in previous years. Just visit www.cvpto.org and click on the UN-Fundraiser tab.
