What are the hours of the OVPP?
Ocean View Preparatory Preschool is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30
p.m. Student arrival and departing times depend on the schedule
each parent chooses.
Can I drop off my child early if I have meetings at no additional charge?
OVPP offers AM and PM Extended care for our students which is
charged at a monthly rate of $50.00. We also have an ocassional
use of early morning or afternoon care for unforeseen situations
that may come up during your busy day.
How are payments made to OVPP?
Invoices are mailed to our parents during the 3rd week of each
month reflecting the payment due for the next month. All payments
are due the 20th of the month PRIOR to the one being attended.
Payments made after the 25th of the month will be assessed a $25.00
late fee. Children are not allowed to attend school unless tuition is paid prior to the first day of the month.
Is there a sibling discount?
A 5 percent discount for the second child based on the lower of
the two fees.
If I am ill or on vacation do I still pay for the entire week?
Even when your child is ill or you have a vacation planned you
are still responsible for the entire monthly tuition.
Will we only pay for weeks attended – and not pay for time not attended – or is it the same price each month? (e.g., Thanksgiving break; Winter break; Spring break)
Each month will be the same cost. During the summer we have
instituted a weekly option for vacation time.
Do you have a summer program?
Yes we do! CAMP OVPP is a 10 week session that runs throughout
the summer. We follow the same academic curriculum, but with
added projects and activities. Each week has a different theme
such as America the Beautiful, Western Round Up, Commotion In the
Ocean, Space Explorers, Incredible Insects, Let's Get Fit and

Will there be an assessment of social/emotional, as well as academic progress?
There are no formal assessments; however, teachers will complete
a developmental inventory of each child’s progress to be shared
at teacher/parent conferences.
Will the Preschool MAT test?
No. The MAT is provided at entrance into our kindergarten
program.
Am I locked into M/W/F if my schedule changes to T/TH?
Changes to your schedule can be made if there is available space.
