1. Attendance is very important as each day, new materials will be uncovered(!), so it is very important to be regular to the class.

2. Homework will be assigned regularly( Please see the respective grades). Turn in the homework the day it is due. Each homework is worth 10 pts. Any homework turned in after the due date will get only half credit. Nothing will be acceptable after that week passes.If you are absent the day an assignment or a quiz is given, you have 2 days to turn in your assignment.The teacher will go over the homework each day and the students are expected to do the corrections, if any, with a red pen.

3.Tests/Quizzes: Test will be given after completion of each chapter. Quizzes can be pop quizzes too so it is always good to study on a regular basis what is taught in class every day.

4. Be Ready: The students are expected to be on time to the class and be in their respective seats. Do not talk without permission. During the lecture, please raise hand if you have to say something or ask any doubts.

5. Participation: It is an integral part of learning. Students not participating, working on something unrelated to the task at hand will lose their daily participation point.

6. Grading: A point system is used in which homewok is 10%, Quizzes- 20% , Tests- 50%, class work/ notes-10 % and Participation-10 %

7. Extra Credit: Many assignments will have extra credit opportunities of which you can take advantage. An extra credit means that the original or basic requirements have been met and this new effort is not a substitute but an additional effort beyond the norm. So complete the same work expected of all students to succeed.

7. No horseplay or indiscipline while teaching will be accepted.
