Thursday, Nov. 5th - Good job on the tests. They are posted on-line. There is no homework tonite, we will start ch. 3 Israel Friday.

 

MOnday, Nov. 2nd- Great job on the Egyptian projects!!! Study guide is due Thursday. Test Thursday. (Note: We have school this Friday, but not the following Friday. THis means that some of the material will be condensed and may result in some more homework minutes to meet our 6th grade social studies standards. ) Be ready for the test. Review each night!

 

Friday, Oct. 29th - Test next Thursday. Please utilize the study guide to review concepts. Egyptian project due Monday. Thanks for being prepared. I look forward to seeing these projects.

 

Monday, Oct. 26th - Complete time line pieces for entire chapter (total of 12), finish chapter review questions for ch. 2, 1-12. Question and answer format is required.  Test next Thursday. Materials for in-class project work time this Thursday.

 

Friday, Oct. 23rd- Today I announced upcoming test and project deadlines. We have finished our notes for section 2 and will have a test Thursday, November 5th. Students will receive a study guide this Monday. Review notes, vocab, and Do Now questions. Also, Egyptian project is due Monday, November 2nd. Students will have time to work with their partner this Thursday in class. We do not have class this Friday due to the half-day schedule.  Please see planner for further details.

 

Monday, OCt. 19th- Read the Egyptian Cinderella fairy tale from ch.2 and complete the venn diagram from class to include similiarities and differences for these fairy tales. Also, read ch. 2:3 and complete two questions and five bullet points. All of this is due Thursday!

 

Thursday, Oct. 15th- STudy for ch. 2:section 1&2 quiz this Friday!

 

Monday, OCt. 12th - Complete ch. 2:section 1&2 vocab, Answer #3 on section review for section 2 and write five bullet points. THis is all due Thursday! STudy for ch. 2:section 1&2 quiz this Friday!

Monday, Oct.5th - Good job preparing for the test! Define ch. 2:section 1 content vocabulary words.

 

Thursday, Oct. 1st - Students have a ch. 1 test this Monday. It was a announced last week. They need to know their vocab, chapter review questions (we did these as a whole class), and all corrected homework. They will have had review in class and will study with a buddy Thursday.

 

Monday, Sept. 28th - Babylon and U.S.A. symbol comparison due Thursday. This was assigned before ITBS testing and will be due during testing week. Most students had a significant head start in class.

Monday, Sept. 14th - Read Ch.1: section 1, answers questions 1&2 on page 131 and add five notes. See the homework template in the student notebook.  Due. Thursday.
