I have been a teacher for over 30 years. I received my teaching
credential from UC Irvine. Although I have taught other grade levels, fifth
grade has always been my favorite to teach. The students are engaging,
insightful, and eager to learn new things. I love learning from them and
watching them grow in knowledge and self-awareness.
On a personal note, I have two beautiful daughters who are both OLF
graduates. The youngest is currently attending Grand Canyon University in
Arizona studying to become a nurse. The oldest graduated from St. Mary's
College in Moraga. As for fun, I enjoy cooking, hiking the mountain trails
with my husband, reading about early American history, and most of all
spending time with my family.
My mission as a fifth grade teacher is to empower my students both
academically and spritually to be their best and take pride in their work.
In doing this, your support as parents is invaluable. I also want the
students to know that our classroom is a safe place where each student is
treated with respect, fairness, and kindness.
