I am now in my 14th year at Petaluma High and 23rd year in education. I love teaching at Petaluma High School and plan to remain here teaching math until I retire. |

I earned my BA in Political Science/Business at UCLA, my mathematics teaching credential at Cal State Hayward, and my MA in Education at Sonoma State University. This is my 21st year of teaching mathematics, and I have previously taught math at Logan High School in Union City and at Kenilworth Junior High in Petaluma. I have also worked as the District Technology Coordinator for Petaluma City Schools and Assistant Principal at Petaluma High. I also currently work as a new teacher trainer for BTSA at the Sonoma County Office of Education. |

I live in Petaluma with my wife, Eden, and we have two sons, Kevin and Ryan. My birthday is August 28. My hobbies include traveling to foreign lands, reading, playing tennis and cards, solving Sudoku and KenKen puzzles, and watching sports. I am an avid Raiders, SF Giants, Warriors, and A's fan. (Aside: please note the 49ers are not on my list of favorite teams). |

My favorite quote is: "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat" by Theodore Roosevelt. |
