your child will bring home. These ideas were generated from last year's
first grade students themselves! A very creative group we had.
1.) "Make a sentence."
2.) "Cut word in 1/2, then put back together."
3.) "Read them."
4.) "Practice writing them."
5.) "Write the word on another card and play Memory."
6.) "Make a sentence then glue them on paper or write them on paper."
7.) "Make a test with them."
8.) "Face them down. Try to find a certain word."
9.) "Sort them by same first letter."
10.) "Make an animal or shape with them and then read it."
11.) "Make a bingo game."
12.) "Use them as flash cards."
13.) "Play Snap." (Turn over a card. The first person to say the
word wins the card.)
14.) "Play Tic/Tac/Toe."
