Do second graders do a lot of writing?

Yes,In room 11 we do a lot of journal writing and also creative writing. We 
also do rough drafts and final copies. This really gets the children ready 
for third grade.

Do second graders have reading buddies?

Yes, we have reading buddies with Jr-k children every Friday. We do reading 
activities, art and have a lot of fun with our buddies.

Do second graders do multiplication, division and regrouping?

Yes, we start multiplication/division and also do regrouping (borrowing and 
carrying)This really gets the students ready for third grade where they do a 
lot of multiplication/division.
