HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
Family Homework!
All Subjects
Each week, I will be sending home our weekly folders with our family
homework inside. You and your child have one week to complete the
assignment. Details are always included on the homework cover sheet. Please
be sure to read everything carefully! Any questions? Just ask!
If you need additional homework, one idea is to look online
for "kindergarten work". Many sites offer additional worksheets and
activities for all abilities. Simply do a search under "Kindergarten
worksheets". For extra reading practice go to http://www.starfall.com
Homework Journals
All Subjects
Students will be asked to keep a journal for the year. Journal topics will
be chosen by me and will be included on our homework cover sheet. You are
ALWAYS free to write up your own topic for your child's journal. :)Don't
forget to be sure to help your student by writing down the words that they
say in their journal notebook. Later on in the year, students may wish to
write down everything all by themselves! This journal will serve as a
momento of our Kindergarten year! Don't forget to have them draw a picture
to accompany their journal writing. Have fun!
