What's the difference between Pre-K & Junior Kindergarten
In Pre-K children are INTRODUCED and begin to "fine tune" the skills for
school. In Junior Kindergarten children "fine tune" and begin to MASTER
the
skills for school. Junior K has a structured schedule Monday-Friday from
8:30 to 2:30pm with NO naps. Pre-school has flexible schedule with your
choice of days and time, and children take a nap.
--------------------------------------
Do you have computers in class?
Yes, we have computers in class for kids to learn math, reading, and writing
through a variety of software.
--------------------------------------
Do you have field trips?
Yes. Field trips are an important part of our curriculum in Junior K.
Going to the Pumpkin Patch, Disney on Ice, plays, Baskin Robin, Discovery
Museum and the zoo are some of the fun places we go to.

What is Reading Buddies?
Each junior kindergarten student is paired with a second grade student for
the school year. The students work together on a variety of activities
including reading books, playing, field trips, and creating craft projects.
The reading buddy program is beneficial to the students in both grades.
