CAN FOOD DRIVE
The Holiday Season is upon us!
As part of our ongoing lessons about the importance of sharing, Primary Plus
announces its annual Can Food Drive!
Starting MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd and ending FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20th our students
are invited to bring a canned food item to contribute to our annual Can Food
Drive.
All proceeds will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara
County. Second Harvest distributes food items to over 300 agencies within
Santa Clara County.
Second Harvest welcomes all items donated but is in special need of canned
items that are excellent sources of protein such as meats, fish, soup, beans,
and infant formula. Due to storage concerns, we request that you limit your
donations to canned items only, or you can now donate online at:

We would like to remind you that this is voluntary school program. Our
students are invited, but not required to participate.

Non-Academic Days
November 11th and November 25th. We will also be closed for the Thanksgiving
Holiday on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th.

RETAKE PICTURE DAY
Retake Picture day is Wednesday, November 18th. Individual photos will be
retaken; however class pictures will not.

FLAG FOOTBALL & CHEER
Be a part of Action Day Primary Plus Flag Football and Cheerleading. Primary
Plus provide boys and girls the place to have FUN with the exciting game of
Flag Football and Cheerleading.
Primary Plus Football and Cheerleading is currently conducting sign-ups for
the 2009-2010 Winter Football Season.

Join us for an OPEN HOUSE Saturday, November 14th @ 10am-2pm
Free Family Enrichment Workshops:
Dibble's Laboratory- Explore scientific concepts in this interactive hand on
workshop. (10am-12pm)
Merry Melodies- Combine rhythm movement and voice for all encompassing
entertaining theatrical experience. (11am-12pm)
Colorful Pastels- Help your child create one of a kind pastel masterpiece.
(1-2pm)

We are asking your help in creating a "Germ Free Zone!"
Please check your child for these signs of illness:
*Coughing with other signs of
*Fever or chills
*Sore throat or trouble swallowing
*Headaches
*Sneezing
*Vomiting
*Diarrhea
*Unusual spots or rashes
We are doing our part by having our students
*Wash their hands often
*Cover their cough/sneeze
*Reviewing good health habits and more

School Starts everyday at 8:30! Please drop your child off before that
time to avoid being late! Should you be late, you MUST pick up a late
slip from the office. The academic day ends at 2:40 p.m.
