What's New?!?

Thank you for all your wonderful gifts and kind words from our Teacher Appreciation Day and Mother's Day!  It's a pleasure working with your children.

CORRECTION! Field Day is NEXT Friday, the 25th.  Be sure to send your child to school with a water bottle labeled with their name.

We had a beautiful day at Vasona Park.  We went on a 5 senses nature walk, and learned about life in a pond.  The students got to see various wildlife, learned about different types of plants and saw animals that live in ponds.  Thank you to my parent chaperones who helped make this day fun!

Have you purchased a yearbook yet?  It's not too late.  Get one now!

Our 5th Annual First Grade BBQ is on Tuesday, June 5th from 11-2.  Families are invited.  Room 2 in in charge of bringing side dishes (a sign up will be posted).  We will have a balloon toss (each student brings 10 pre-filled water balloons), fun jump, and a balloon guy.  Hot dogs are provided and you may bring anything else for the grill.  Hope to see you all there!

Our school's End of the Year BBQ is on June 7.  Each classroom is asked to collect donations for a raffle bucket.  Our theme this year is "Family Game Night." A sign up will be posted soon.
