Welcome to Room 13!
Only 9 more days left of school. How quickly time flies!
Here are some details for this week. We will still continue to work hard and also have fun wrapping up the year! This week we will work on a few assessments in Language, Nouns, verbs, possessive nouns, adjectives, and writing a complete sentence. In Math we will continue to work on fractions and begin our unit on decimals. We'll also have fun with some end of the year class projects. And, we have decided that there will be NO HOMEWORK for the rest of the year, however, during study hall, students will be give some review work to do during that period. We will stay busy all the way to the last minute!
Tuesday, May 29th is our field trip to West Valley to see the play, "Annie". Students should bring a bag lunch, or they can order hot lunch over there!
Wednesday, May 30th is our field trip to Alum Rock Park. Wear sneakers and your field trip t-shirt!
End of Year BBQ raffle items are due on Friday, June 1st. Our theme is "Dream of Desserts". Please help us fill the tub and don't forget to buy raffle tickets to try to our tub!
Additional dates to remember...
Wed. June 6th - bring a big bag to school to take home all your belongings.
Thursday, June 7th is our last Student of the Month and Life Skill Luncheon
Friday, June 8th is our end of the year party! Details will go home soon.
Report cards and SAT10 scores will also go home on the last daya of school. Optional conferences will be offered. Let us know if you'd like to schedule a time to meet!
