How can I earn a homework pass?
Homework passes can be earned by doing a great job on an
assignment, being on task without having to be told, bringing
items in for Mrs. Inlow when she needs them, or just because Mrs.
Inlow is in a good mood that day!
How much are homework passes worth?
Homework passes are good for full credit on an OVERNIGHT
assignment, you cannot use them for assignments that take several
days to complete or for projects. If you do not use your
homework passes during the school year, they are worth 5 points
each (max 25 points) at the end of the second semester.
What do I keep in my folder?
Every student has a folder, color coded by class period. All
graded work that has been returned to students is kept in the
folder in case it's needed for future reference or to check a
grade.
Do you give test make-ups?
No, there are no test make-ups in my class. Students are
notified of upcoming exams approximately 4 weeks in advance. At
that time I put a list of topics to focus your study on in
the "What to study for the ___ exam" section of this website. We
also take time in class to pull the appropriate notes and if
there is time we will play review games in class.
How do I get an A in your class?
While getting an A or even an A+ is always a goal for students,
it is HOW you learn that you need to keep in mind. If you come
to class on time and are prepared, listen and take careful notes
in class, follow directions during labs, complete all
requirements for projects, study carefully and ask for help
as needed, you will be successful. Remember, no matter how
difficult the class may be for you, don't give up!
