Every night (Monday-Thursday) you should have 1 math assignment.
1 other assignment that is usually:
Monday - Spelling
Tuesday - Grammar
Wednesday - Comprehension or 6 Questions
Thursday - Science or Social Studies
In preparing for the 4th Grade Writing State Test, we will start a writing assignment almost every
week. The assignment is given to your child in class on Monday and turned in on Thursday.
Please make sure that an adult is helping to edit the rough draft.
Reading is important. Please do not wait until you go to bed!
During the week you should read the assigned story in your Language Arts book.
In addition you should read at least 30 minutes or a minimum of 2 chapters in your library book.
Be sure to summarize what you read on your reading log all week for 50 points!
(This is for chapter books only)
Monday is Library Day and also the day to turn in Reading Logs.
Parents should not be working harder than students!
