STAR  Info, Sample Test Questions, and Explanations:
California's annual Standardized Testing and Reporting,STAR 
tests, are given to all students across the state in May. Scores 
are mailed to parents usually in August. An explanation from the 
web site follows:
The California Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program 
measures how well the California education system and its 
students are performing.

These tests measure student achievement in:

Purposes for Testing
