I have a Bachelor's Degree from the Claremont Colleges, a Master's Degree
from Cal State San Bernardino, and my teaching credential from Chapman
University. I have a GATE certificate for teaching Gifted and Talented
Education. Prior to becoming a public school teacher, I worked in Social
Services with severely emotionally disturbed and abused children. My
husband teaches history and economics at Chaparral High School and I have two
sons who attend Chaparral High School and one daughter who is in her third
year at U.C. Davis. I also have two rambunctious dogs who love to go on
walks and hikes with me.
We Otter Do Our Best!
I expect the best from my students. I also believe, however, that everyone
makes mistakes (me included!) and that when we make mistakes, we have to FIX
them. We can fix our mistakes by doing something over, by saying sorry, or
by replacing something that has been broken.
