Science fair projects were just great! Good job, students!
A heartfelt thanks to all the parents who donated very much needed printer
paper during last weeks paper drive. We can't go forward without you!
In math we are begining chapter 7, "Fractions and Division".
We will start lesson 3 and 4 of Chapter 5, "Americans Come to California",
We will be finished with all the reading and take the Chapter test next week
on Friday.
We are planning a Gold Rush Activities Day in March and would like as many
parent volunteers as possible to man the centers. There will be gold to mine!
Students will finish the Science chapter 4 on rocks and the rock cycle. I
think they will be ready to take the science chapter test next Tuesday or
Wednesday after a review.

Thursday night practice test.
