SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT

Students are not required to submit a project for the Science Fair in
February. It is a fun project to do with your child and we will probably bo
buddy science fair projects with our buddy class. Students may do an
individual one for submission if they choose. Handouts will go home only to
those families that express an interest in trying to create one themselves.
It is essential, though, that it be in the child's work and not adult done as
this will be a factor in the judging. Parents and other family members may
help, but it needs to reflect the work of the student.

If you do choose to participate, here are some questions to think about
solving:

What do you want to learn about? Is there a particular area of science you
are interested in exploring?

What projects did you see at the fair last year that looked like it might be
fun to try?

What are your favorite things to do after school? Sometimes there are ways to
make your favorite sport part of your project. Hmmmmm....

What do you like to eat? There are lots of different experiments you can do
with foods and then enjoy eating them too!
