I grew up nearby in Santa Clara, California. I was the valedictorian for Santa
Clara High School and went on to attend the University of California,
Berkeley.(Go Bears!) For 6 years, I supported Redwood in various roles
including teaching 8th grade resource math and Math Olympiad. I may know some
of my new students as their summer school teacher (formerly Ms. Cornejo) for
Chess, Math Games, or Money Games.
Two years ago, I returned to Redwood after spending two years teaching in the
Mount Pleasant School District where I received the honor of Teacher of the
Year. It has been great to be back working with such a supportive and creative
staff and such talented and spirited students. We're going to have a great year!
