There will be a routine to homework assignments.
Mondays: progress reports will be completed by the students to be taken home
and signed by a parent/guardian. Turn in completed progress reports
by FRIDAY.(First Progress Report will be issued 9/19)
*** If you see an assignment highlighted, then the assignment has
either been turned in, but NOT YET GRADED or recorded by the
teacher OR the student hasn't turned it in (missing).
*** Parents: please confirm with you child.
PROCEDURES FOR HIGHLIGHTED ASSIGNMENTS ON PROGRESS REPORT:
If the assignment has been turned in, then the student needs
to:
1) put a check mark next to the assignment in question on
the left hand margin
2) write the date that it was turned in
This is a step in self-monitoring. If the assignment still
shows missing the following week, then the student will need to
show me the assignment along with following these procedures.
Wednesdays: organize binder notebook so it it will be ready for inspection
on Thursdays.
Thursdays: Have progress report signed by parent/guardian.
Occasionally, there will be homework assignments issued from Study Skills
(i.e. portfolio preparation)
