What is your homework policy?

Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.  Students usually have 2-3 pages a night 
to complete in addition to reading 15-20 minutes a night.  I do not start homework until the third 
week of school and I do not usually assign work during weekends and breaks. I will also not 
assign homework during conference weeks and one week before break.  

If the students do not complete their assignment, they will complete it during recesses or in class 
if they finish their classwork early.  

Student's that habitually do not return work may run the risk of not being allowed to attend field 
trips. 

Assignments will be graded by the students the morning following the assignment.

8:05 a.m.-School begins
9:30-9:45 a.m.-Morning recess
11:20 a.m.-12:00 p.m.-Lunch
1:25-1:40 p.m.-Afternoon recess
2:30 p.m.-Dismissal
