How are the grades averaged?

Daily work is given a percent. These are posted on Gradelink.
Tests are given a percent. At the end of the quarter all work is
averaged together, and all tests are averaged together. Work is half of the
grade and tests are half of the grade. .

What happens to absentee work?

The student does the missed work as soon as he/she returns to school. They
write the word "absent" on the top of the paper so it is not marked down for
being late. Time varies for due dates. For example, if a student is out one
day, they have one day to do the work. If the absence lasts a week, they
have a week to make it up. If a student waits a month to make up work, the
most they can get is 50%. Please check Gradelink for any assignments marked
IC for work not turned in on time.

What happens to late work?

Late work receives 50% or less, depending on the amount correct on the work.
Hopefully, this will encourage students to be responsible and turn in their
work on time.
