Weekly Snapshot (11/9-11/12))
Dear Parents,
Field Trip – What a great time we had! A big Thank you to all the parent
volunteers.
As we begin a new quarter at St. Hedwig you will see that I will be assigning
homework weekly where students will be required to print out their assignment
reports from Gradelink to see if they have anything missing. I understand
that computers/printers seem to not work when we need them the most. If that
is the case, please send me a note indicating that there was a problem.
Room 6 along with our Friendship Partners in Room 4 will be sponsoring a
family through We Care this holiday season. More information will follow.
English – Our final nouns quiz will be on Tuesday. We have begun reviewing
in class.
The nouns test will be in the near future; when I have a specific date (after
review) I will notify the students.
Vocabulary – The Unit(s) 1-3 test is on Thursday.
No School on Friday- Teacher In Service
Anti-Bacterial Wipes/Hand Sanitizer – If you would like to donate wipes for
the desks and chairs or hand sanitizer it would be greatly appreciated.
Gradelink- Not only is Gradelink a wonderful tool for parents; it is also a
great tool for teachers. I mark any missing assignments as a
zero/incomplete. This includes students who are absent. The zero is
averaged into the overall grade which will be replaced by the earned grade
when the assignment is turned in.
