Weekly Snapshot (1/4/10-1/8/10)
Dear Parents,
I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas break and a Happy New Year! It
is hard to believe that it is 2010. We are going to jump right back to work
in room 6.
HSS-Egyptian Project grades are in. For any student who did not follow the
rubric or would like to earn a better grade I will be administering the
Egyptian test on Thursday after school. I will average the project grade and
the test grade. There will be no in class review for this test.
Vocabulary - Unit 6 test will be on 1/14
English-We are going to have a review of pronouns early this week with a quiz
by Friday(the quiz will cover English lessons 4-7).
AR-As a reminder 2 AR tests must be completed and passed by 1/22.
Gradelink- Not only is Gradelink a wonderful tool for parents; it is also a
great tool for teachers. I mark any missing assignments as a
zero/incomplete. This includes students who are absent. The zero is
averaged into the overall grade which will be replaced by the earned grade
when the assignment is turned in.
