CONFERENCES:
- Please have your questions and concerns written down so that we may utilize
our 15 mins in the best way possible! Also, if you feel that 15 mins was not
enough you may schedule an additional appointment with your teacher on a
different day. Thank you ahead of time for being on time so that we have our
whole 15 mins. :)
***Student Learning Assessments- please make sure you read the "EXPLANATION
OF MARKS" on the back side. "S" is the expected grade your child should
recieve in all areas. It means SUCCESSFUL...doing first grade work.
SOUND CARDS ARE FOR HOMEWORK EVERY NIGHT ONLINE at www.sraimagineit.com. If
you feel your child needs more practice with the sounds, please do it online
or purchase the cards to assist you....

HERE IS THE INFO FROM THE PARENT COMMUNICATOR FOR THE DISASTER PREPAREDNESS
PROGRAM:
Students are required to bring in their own disaster preparedness bag. The
bag should be labeled with the child's name and room number. Please put in a
few "comfort" items for your child in case of an emergency.
Some examples include:
Family/buddy photo
Favorite book
Deck of cards
Healthy snack (no chocolate/non-perishable, expiration date June 2010)
Bottled water (16oz.)
The school has purchased emergency food supplies for each student and faculty
member

Emergency lunches: An additional $1.45 is added to any lunch needed on an
emergency basis.
