What to expect daily for homework in Room 2/2A:
You can expect homework every night except on Friday. Homework should not
exceed 45 minutes. If it is taking your child longer than this, please let
us know. Each night your child will bring home one Math page, one Language
Arts page, and sometimes an extra sheet. The extra sheet will be something
that we feel the class needs to work on, i.e. Handwriting, Phonics, etc.
Don’t forget that at the beginning of every week your child will bring home
a Spelling List, and 100 Math Facts that they should practice nightly. The
goal is for your child to complete all 100 facts within a 5 minute time
frame with less than 5 mistakes. (Remember - this is our Goal - we don't
expect them to be able to reach that goal until at least the middle of the
year.) You will receive one copy; you may make extras for your child to
practice each night. Please leave the Spelling List in your child’s folder –
it will be used daily in class during our Language Arts.

Thursday's are always - Religion homework only! You cannot use a Homework
Pass for Religion! Religion must be signed in order for your child to receive
credit - homework in Religion is meant to be done as a family.
