- Students meet every Friday morning in their clubs to summarize their books and participate in activities.
- In order for our book clubs to be successful, students should be reading a minimum of 20 minutes each night.
- If your child finishes their book early, have them pick a new book to continue reading.
NEW for the 2nd Quarter!!!
Students must answer the following questions in their literature notebooks:
1. How many pages have you read in the book so far?
2. Who are the important characters or new characters you have met?
3. Describe the setting?
4. What is the golden moment of the book so far?
5. What do you think will happen next?
6. Based on the reading you have done, how would you rate the book on a scale of 1-10?
7. Based on the reading you have done, what do you remember most about the book you have read?
Final Book Club Project:
Same choices from 1st Quarter.
Oral Report and Project due: 1/22
