Students should be writing in their PLANNER EVERYDAY!  PARENTS SHOULD BE CHECKING THE BINDER TOO!

 

PARENTS, PLEASE HELP YOUR CHILD WITH HIS/HER BACKPACK AND BINDER ORGANIZATION!!
Some students really need the organization of their backpack and binder looked at every 2-3 days to help make sure that papers they need are in the right places and they can find them easily to turn in.  There were many assignment papers from  classes that, because of poor organization, don't get turned in.   There are also many assignments that were already corrected and done that should either be taken out at home or put in their file here at school, so that they aren’t taking up precious space in their binder/backpack. Many notes from the school are in the backpack/binder that YOU as a PARENT need to SEE!!  IT IS NOT INVASION OF PRIVACY, THEY NEED YOUR HELP!!!

There were also many papers that are drawn on and just shoved into the backpack.  I would also suggest buying a blank page journal from the store that he/she can use to write and draw in, instead of using all the binder paper.

We need tissue paper for cold and flu season, if you can bring a small
box of tissue in, please do so.
You should also use give some hand sanitizer for your child to keep in their backpack. 

I DO NOT ACCEPT LATE WORK!!!
If you are absent, you have TWO DAYS for every day absent to make up the work.

The number 1 reason that students fail a class is NOT DOING THEIR WORK AND
TURNING IT IN TO BE GRADED!! That includes putting your name on your paper.

We could also use some scissors and colored pencils for future projects.
