About Ms. Hill

I was born near San Francisco and moved to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB. I
majored in Geology and later returned to UCSB to get my teaching credential
and masters in education. This is my fourth year as a teacher. I taught
science and math for 2 years at Foothill High School in Ventura before taking
a job at Santa Barbara Jr. High School.
I live on a sailboat with my husband and baby. We enjoying sailing to Santa
Cruz Island in the summertime. I will post some pictures of my baby as soon as
I have free time!

Mission for my classes:

Math is the "gate keeper". If you want to go to a 4 year college, you will
need get through Algebra 2 or higher. My goals are to make sure you are
successful in my class and prepared for the next level of math. I want to help
you keep the gates open, so that you have choices, not limitations, in your
future.
