How much homework is assigned?

See the homework link for the daily routine. Homework should not take more 
than 45 minutes, including daily reading. Please see me or write a note if 
it is taking significantly more time. Daily homework is due the following 
morning. No homework is assigned over weekends.

How many reports/projects are required?

Our three big projects are a report and creative project on a California 
Native American tribe, a report and creative project on a California 
mission, and an ecosystem/animal habitat report and diorama.

How often do we go on field trips?

On average, we take one educational field trip per month. I welcome 
suggestions and help from parents in planning, driving, and supervising.
