DAY 1 — OVERNIGHT FLIGHT Depart from the USA.
DAY 2 — DUBLIN Arrive in the Emerald Isle. The remainder of the day is
free to unpack and relax. Why not wander across St. Stephen's Green to
Grafton Street? You may hear buskers playing traditional Irish music.
DAY 3 — DUBLIN Sightseeing shows you statue-filled O'Connell Street and
St. Patrick's Cathedral. Also included is a visit to Kilmainham Gaol,
Ireland's most famous disused jail that has held both Nationalist and
Republican prisoners. In the afternoon you have time to explore the Temple
Bar section of Dublin. Situated near the Liffey and the Ha'penny Bridge,
Temple Bar boasts cafés, galleries and trendy shops.
DAY 4 — LAKE DISTRICT Journey across the Irish Sea to Wales. You travel
through North Wales to the Lake District, where you will spend the night.
Comprising of 16 lakes, the area is incredibly beautiful and mystical.
DAY 5 — EDINBURGH Begin your morning by visiting the village of Grasmere,
a favorite among Lake poets. Wordsworth lived in Dove Cottage and is buried
at the local church. Notice how the countryside gets more rugged and
mountainous as you continue northward to Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh.
DAY 6 — EDINBURGH Sightseeing shows you Princes Street, Charlotte Square
and Edinburgh Castle, perched high up in the old town. The afternoon is free
to shop; woolens, tartans and sheepskins are an especially good value. This
evening you may wish to enjoy an optional Scottish Evening with dinner, not
available prior to April 1.
DAY 7 — YORK Begin the day by traveling to Hadrian's Wall, the
northernmost outpost of Roman Britain and the means by which the Romans kept
out marauding tribes. Continue on to the walled city of York. This evening a
Ghost Tour is included for brave night owls!
DAY 8 — LONDON This morning travel to London via Windsor Castle. Begun by
William the Conqueror, today it is an official residence of the British
Royal Family.

Square and the Houses of Parliament. Stop at Buckingham Palace for the
Changing of the Guard, if available. The afternoon is free to visit the
Tower of London or shop at Harrods.
