How do I make up a vocabulary quiz? If you miss a vocab quiz and it is an EXCUSED absence: -Type original sentences using each of the week's vocab words (10 total). -Staple a "Vocab Make-up Cover Sheet" on top and fill it out. -Put it in the make up work folder. *There is only ONE make-up allowed per 6 weeks, unless an emergency situation arises and I am contacted by your parent/guardian* Can I make up work missed due to tardiness? NO. How do I access Parent Connect? Go to https://dwa.sis.sandi.net/parentconnect How soon do I need to make up work? --Large, long-term essays/projects (due dates more than 2 weeks in advance): there is no make-up. Have someone bring it in on the due date for you. They can put it in my box. --Regular work: You have the number of days absent to make it up (2 days gone, 2 days to turn in work). What is the best way to reach you? EMAIL! EMAIL! Can I make up citizenship through detention? No. Behave appropriately from the start. It would help me to sit closer. Can I move my seat? Yes, of course! Ask me ahead of time and I will make it happen. Can I use an Independent Reading Book in a language other than English? No, but please still read them for yourself.
