I was born in Orange County on July 17, 1976. I have the best family in the
world (this is only my opinion!!!). I am the oldest of 4 children. I have one
sister (Chrissy) and 2 brothers (Sam & Tim) and the two best parents ever
(Margee & Sam). My family lives in Santa Ana. I moved to San Diego in
1994 for school and lived there until August 2005. My husband and I relocated
to Roanoke, Virginia for our jobs. We lived in Roanoke for 2 years, before we
moved back to San Diego. We currently live in Santee.
I attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California from 1990-1994.Then,
I attended University of San Diego from 1994-1998 and graduated in 1998 with
my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a minor in Spanish. I continued at USD
for my graudate work,and received my Masters of Education in 2000. I am
currently working towards National Board Certification in Mathematics and my
Administrative Credential.
I am the SSC Chair at Serra and the Boys and Girls Swim Coach.
Bill and I got married in August 2004 and honeymooned in Hawaii. Bill is
currently working as a cytotechnologist at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, CA.
Our son, Jacob, was bornon April 2, 2006 and we are enjoying every minute we
spend with him.
I have taught math for 8 years in San Diego and 2 years in Virginia. I am
looking forward to another great year of teaching!
