Homework

Look for homework papers every day, Monday through Thursday. These papers are
always a review and should take no more than 20 minutes. If your child is
struggling to complete the page, please send me a note.

Children should be practicing spelling words and math facts for their timed tests daily.

The most important homework your child can do is read nightly. Reading Logs help direct your child's
reading. Students should be reading a chapter book for the Reading Log. They should read at least 20
minutes each night, record the page numbers of the pages they read and write 2 sentences about what
was read. It is important that they record the complete name of the book they are reading. When you
sign those logs, you are telling me that you know your child has actually read what is written in this log.
