Vickie Raymond has worked in the field of education for 26 years. She
earned her first Teaching Credential in the state of Oregon. She taught
two years in Klamath Falls, Oregon, where she was born and raised.
She has lived in California for the past twenty-two years, first in the San
Jose area for four years, then moving to Roseville in 1987. She taught at
Crestmont Elementary School in the Roseville City School District from
1987-1998. Vickie has taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th Grade
levels but has had the most experience (11 years) teaching 6th grade.
From 1998-2003, Vickie worked as the District's Beginning Teacher
Support and Assessment (BTSA) coordinator, assisting the District's 1st
and 2nd year teachers with the challenges they faced as new teachers.
In 2003, Vickie earned her Administrative Credential and graduated from
CSUS with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. This is her 5th
year working as Principal of Sierra Gardens Elementary School.
