Do UltraKey tests affect the student's Technology grade?

Yes, keyboarding has become part of the elementary school's
responibility to teach and assess. UltraKey is introduced at the 3rd
grade level but not graded. 4th graders begin to receive a grade in
the first trimester. 5-8th graders receive a grade all year for their
keyboarding skills. They are excepted to use the proper home row
fingering to keyboard.
Our goal is to type with high accuracy and then speed. Each student
is individually assessed and has a goal.
