Biography Poster Information Things to Know:Students should read their chosen biography carefully.Once throughly read students are to complete their poster.Posters are to be filled out throughly with details and proper grammar and mechanics.Sections can be typed on the computer and then glued onto the poster.Pictures may be downloaded and glued onto the computer.Parents may help their students, but the work should be completed by the student and should reflect their work.Poster should be colored and neatly decorated.Poster will be graded on: Design and creativity:20 points Throughness of completion/Information presented: 25 points Grammar and mechanics: 25 points Neatness:10 points Reflective of student's work: 20 points. Total: 100 pointsProject is due on: Wednesday, May *****************************************Remember it is important to read their weekly selection with your student and have them read it aloud to you. Rereading the story helps build fluency as well as vocabulary. Words from our weekly selections will be part of our spelling words each week.Please remember: (Trimester Three) A minimum of Six book reports are due the third trimester. Books must be a grade appropriate chapter book of 125 pages or close to it. Please no Wimpy Kid Books. Book report forms are in the green folder located on the class library shelf. Book reports should be completed throughout the trimester and not all turned in during the last week. Book reports count as a reading grade. Final reading grades will be lowered one grade if book reports are not turned in.
