I will not do anything to keep from me from learning, others from learning, or the teacher teaching. I
will always remember the Golden Rule and will do my best to live like Jesus would.
In our classroom, we will be using the Responsible Citizen Clip Chart. When a child is caught with good
behavior and following the Classroom Agreement, their clip will go up. When they are making a choice
to not follow the Classroom Agreement, their clip will go down. All Children start on green each day.
Red- Outstanding Day ( Classroom Reward)
Orange- Great Day
Yellow- Good Day
Green - Ready to Learn
Light Blue- Think about it ( Warning)
Dark Blue- Teacher's Choice ( Might also come with a note home if necessary)
Purple- Parent Contact
All children will be given at least 3 verbal warnings before moving their clip down.
Their color will be noted in their planner and I will check them before they go home. If your child is
below green, they will have to tell me what choice they made before going home. I feel that the children
should be Effective Communicators and Faith Filled Catholics in discussing their day with you as they
are with me. When checking their planner for homework, please initial near their Clip Chart color to
show that you have seen it and discussed it with your child.
