How will absentee work be recorded on Gradelink?
A student who misses graded assignments due to being absent will receive a zero until the work is made up. Full credit will be given to the student upon completion of the graded assignment. How many Response Journal entries (Literature) should be written in a 2 week period?
A minimum of 4 journal entries are required in a 2 week period. Response journals are collected every 2 weeks on Friday. They are graded for Language Arts, English and Spelling. Students are required to "respond" to their independent reading. They should discuss, in letter form, how their reading is making them a better student (vocabulary, critical thinking, etc). This response is NOT a summary. Entries are formatted in a given manner.Back to Top
