I taught fifth grade at St. Francis of Assisi from 2000 - 2001. Then I
taught seventh grade with Mrs. Ramirez from 2001 - 2005. At that time my
granddaughter was born. I chose to stay home with her. Then my daughter,
granddaughter and son-in-law moved to Arizona. I decided to come back to
teaching and as luck would have it -- I got fifth grade. So my teaching
career at St. Francis of Assisi has come full circle. I am so excited to be
back.
My husband and I have been married for 36 years. He is truly my best
friend. I have two daughters, Tracy and Kelly. Tracy graduated from the
University of Notre Dame and is living in Irvine. She is an accountant. My
daughter, Kelly, graduated from the University of Redlands and is a Speech
Pathologist. She has two jobs: part-time speech pathologist, and she owns
her own Stroller Strides franchise in Arizona. Mackenzie is my three year
old granddaughter. She is the light of all of our lives.
I love being a teacher, and I love being at St. Francis.
My mission for the class is to have the children be tolerant and accepting
of each other.
