Homework

Homework is in the form of one or two dittos every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  These dittos are to be completed and returned to school the next day.  Our homework folders will be used to keep the dittos neat.  These dittos are to reinforce the lessons taught in class.  

First Graders have an average of twenty minutes of homework Monday-Thursday.

Every Wednesday there will be some form of reading sent home.  This reading may be in the form of a ditto (with a list of words), booklet, packet, or book.  These are to be kept at home until mastered.  Do not write on the booklets or books.

 Every Thursday the homework is Raz-Kids and Live Mathletics.  Live Mathletics needs to be played 20 or more minutes weekly.  Raz-Kids needs to be read 20 or more minutes weekly at the level assigned.  Your child needs to successfully complete one or more quizzes weekly.  To be successful your child must miss 0 or 1.  If your child misses two or more questions, repeat the same story.
