Inventions to Solve 4th Grade Problems

The Fourth Grade read The Invention Book and thought of lots of great ideas for inventions to solve their problems.

Congratulations on your Great Inventions!

Grapple Bow Tie

I thought of this because when you're at a house that is on fire, call the firefighters. But what if the telephone won't work and the door is locked? You need to jump out of the window. What if the window is too high? You can use the Grappling Bow Tie. Well, it's less painless than jumping out of a high window without it.

Aquazine

My invention is a water-proof magazine called, Aquazine. It is called Aquazine because it is a magazine that can get wet and not get destroyed. I invented this for kids so that they could read a magazine that can get wet and not get destroyed. I invented this for kids that they could read a magazine when they are in the bathtub and when they are swimming in a pool. Sometimes when my sister is reading her magazine and books (those would be called Aquabooks) and I jump in the water, she gets mad because her pages get wet and soggy and the magazine gets ruined. My sister also likes to float on a raft and get a tan, she would be able to tan and read at the same time.

Personal People Mover (PPM)

PPM's are tubes that run throughout the city. Inside the tubes are non-mechanical cars that are moved and stopped by pressurized air. They link anything from homes, stores, churches, schools, parks, and places of work for people in the city. In my opinion it is a great way to reduce pollution and also a fun way to travel. It would be the perfect way for kids, people with handicaps, and seniors to get around without any help. One major benefit to the environment would be that there would be almost no need for paved roads. The only roads needed would be walking paths and bike paths. This would make room for walking paths and bike paths. This would leave room for parks and forests for people to enjoy. Another benefit would be the major reduction in car crash injuries.

Volleyball Helper

I solved the problem for volleyball players who don't have anyone to practice with. My invention, the Volleyball Helper, is a volleyball that is connected to a string on one end. The other end can stick on the ceiling. You can spike the Volleyball Helper and it will tell you if you hit the ball hard enough to go over the net. If it says, "Hit it harder!", you hit the ball harder. This invention will make you a better spiker and a better volleyball player.

The Remote Control School Supply Car

When you are sick and you don't want to get up and get your homework supplies, you can just have your remote on the bed. When you need to get a pencil, eraser, or glue-stick, you can just push the button. Then the car will come straight to you. With this special remote, it will even go backward to you. For all those kids that are home sick, I hope this will be special for you.

The Wii Box

The Wii Box solves more than one problem. When I am thirsty I can just get the drink without walking. This box also holds games and nunchucks.

Spring Shoes

I thought of this invention of the Spring Shoes because a bunch of people tried to dunk but they could barely reach the rim. My Spring Shoes might be tricky to wear because you can't really walk well or shuffle your feet because balance is a problem. the cool thing is that four springs in the front are shorter than the four springs in the back of the shoe so that you if you land perfectly, you get good height. I am excited to see if the shoe works.

Supplies: 8 compresson springs, 1 tube of epoxy, 1 shoe, 1 bottom of a flip flop

The Three-in-One Pen

I invented the Three-in-One Pen. It is a sharpie, a pencil, and an eraser. I invented it because it is all the things you need to correct, to write, and to erase.

Water Jump Rope

The Water Jump Rope solves the problem of overheating when you jump rope. As you jump, water from inside the jump rope squirts out and lands on you. This will keep you cool as you jump. All you need to do is fill the rope with water from the hose each time before you jump. The faster you jump, the more water squirts on you. When you jump, you just squeeze the end that you are holding and the water falls over you.
