Dear Parents:
The Washington, DC trip with the eighth grade class is in full swing! The
students are experiencing the wonders of Washington, Philadelphia and
Gettysburg, and a dinner cruise along the Potomac. Each year the trip is new
and exciting.
The month of May is overflowing with events and preparations for the end of
the school year. First Communion, Mothers’ Day, May Crowning, Book Fair, the
Golf Tournament, field trips, special events, Spring Sing, Student Council
elections, athletic awards, and finally, Memorial Day make the month more than
full. Please check the calendar for events that affect your particular
family. Mark your calendar now, so you won’t forget.
Registration information is forthcoming. Annual statements will be mailed
home by May 9th reflecting the information on hand April 30th. Early
registration (prior to May 25th) is available for those who have met all
commitments as noted on the May 9th statement. Registration packets will be
sent home May 19th. Mark May 25th as the Big Day for registration and used
uniform sales. Vicki Marsh will be on campus May 31st. Tuition for the
coming year will increase $17.00 per month to about $5400.00 for the year. We
thank Father Frank for his generous increase of parish support to the school
through a special monthly collection during Sunday Mass.
Thank you to the organizers of the Golf Tournament May 23rd. They and their
committees look forward to a good turnout. Make sure you get your
reservations in soon. Thanks to the sponsors and donors who give so much to
make the event a success. I look forward to seeing you at the dinner.
Let us remember that the month of May is dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. She
is our model for acceptance of God’s will and strength in our convictions as
parents, and for our children. The Rosary is her prayer; pray it with your
family during this month.
God bless you,
Mrs. Mary Santoni
