Textbook - Houghton Mifflin Mathematics 6

Lessons will include all five strands that are required under the California State and Diocese of Oakland Mathematics Standards for Sixth Grade.

1. Number Sense
2. Algebra and Functions
3. Measurement and Geometry
4. Statistics
5. Data Analysis and Probability
6. Mathematical Reasoning

We will generally complete one lesson per day. Homework will be assigned daily and may include Mathletics assignments. Supplemental materials will occasionally be used in place of or in addition to a lesson from the textbook.

Students should review and practice their math facts at home. It is extremely important that math facts become automatic.
