About The Teacher

My name is Mrs. Munson. I have been teaching for 8 years. I attended
A.P.U.and graduated with a Bachelors in Human Development as well as a Master
Degree in Education. I am certified to teach both GATE and ELL students.
I am a proud mother of three beautiful children: 19, 17, and 11. I live in
San Dimas with my husband, 3 kids and my dog Cody. In my spare time I enjoy
photography, working on the computer, running, snowboarding in the winter,
beaching it in the summer and most importantly... SHOP!

Our Class Mission

I believe that learning should be fun and exciting, yet challenging. I strive
to create a classroom environment where all learners have the opportunity to
work to their fullest potential; a classroom where students feel safe to show
their unique qualities and individual strengths. I encourage my students to
be problem solvers and try to motivate them to become lifelong learners. I
understand that education is a partnership between parents, school, and
community. Communication is the key to your child's success. Together we can
make school both challenging and enjoyable.
