Shout Out to Mr. Cobian’s classes for continuing to work hard and showing appropriate behavior with the substitute teachers over the past week-Great Job!

To qualify for the Battle of the Books luncheon you must have read 7 books and passed the tests by the end of your lunch time TODAY!

We are having a Rachel’s Challenge T-shirt design contest. The winning designer will get a free shirt, and their design will be used for the front side of the T-shirts we are going to order, pick up a rules information sheet in the office. The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 31st by 2:30PM.

Today at your lunchtime is your last chance to shop at the Book Fair!

X time will be with your Homeroom class every day next week!

Next week Leadership will be selling Halloween Grams at lunch Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to be delivered on Friday.

Tuesday will be the Battle of the Books Reward Luncheon.
After school activities: Shark Bites, Leadership, homework Lab and Classroom Reps.

Wednesday after school activities: Football, Homework Lab, Yearbook and Friends of Rachel.

The Etiwanda School District realizes the importance of sharing information regarding the many opportunities for activities throughout the community. In an effort to share this information, community flyers will now be posted on the ESD website (see School District Community Flyer link above). Please note these events are not sponsored by the Etiwanda School District. This information is provided as a community service.

Statistics show that healthy children attend school on a more consistent basis. Summit Intermediate is participating in a Medi-Cal program that links students and families with health care options. Your child may be eligible for FREE or LOW COST health care which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage. Please contact the school office if you need assistance connecting to ESPRI, our 24/7 access to student assignments and grades.

Informational Notice

Once or twice a year, missionaries from local church groups visit the neighborhood surrounding Summit Intermediate School and attempt to hand out religious materials. The laws prohibit them from distributing materials on school property, but if they are on public sidewalks they may distribute materials to the public. We want to remind students that they do not have to accept the materials being offered and that we encourage them to check with their parents before accepting any materials outside of school.
