How does the flu spread? Through coughing, sneezing or even talking with someone with the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills or fatigue, some people with the flu will NOT have a fever. Also, a person might get the flu by touching something that has the flu virus on it so WASH YOUR HANDS often!

Informational Notice

Once or twice a year, missionaries from local church groups visit the neighborhood surrounding Summit Intermediate School and attempt to hand out religious materials. The laws prohibit them from distributing materials on school property, but if they are on public sidewalks they may distribute materials to the public. We want to remind students that they do not have to accept the materials being offered and that we encourage them to check with their parents before accepting any materials outside of school.
